I have an 8lb. maltipoo puppy, bought size medium (went with size chart) and it fits her perfectly! I had purchased this once before a few months ago, in pink, when she was smaller, loved it so much but she out-grew it so bought another one in grey this time. Very good quality and warm, perfect for cold weather.

I bought a size large for my 7-year-old, 15 lbs rat terrier mix that has basically no hair on her underside. I was specifically looking for something that would keep her warm on her chest and tummy, because she’s practically hairless under there. This jacket does the job well. It’s surprisingly good quality. Thick, soft and fleecy underneath

but tough and ruggedly wool on top (which is a good thing, my OCD fetch-playing pup isn’t exactly a prissy dog).

The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t seem quite long enough for her. The neckline is a bit off and the back seems to not quite go far enough, as if I grabbed the wrong size. She’s long legged and long bodied, so perhaps it’s her awkward size is the reason for the awkward fit? But I assumed a large would fit better. In any case, it is still warm and still goes on and off with ease, and fits well enough to do its job. So overall I’m pleased and would buy it again, although in a slightly bigger size or for a smaller dog.

My puppy joined our house in a rather cool October. Toilet training was a lot easier in the afternoon when the sun was out, but at night, he would just sit between my feet shivering instead of going 'to his spot' in the yard. Most XS sweaters were lamentably large for him and I did not want to spent a large amount on something he would wear for just a few weeks at best. This was the perfect fit. It was soft, cut so it would not interfere with the potty training of a male dog, and I thought the color looked rather adorable.
