To be honest, I was about to send these bad boys back because they looked so foggy and scratched up. However, when I came back read the comments again... some did instruct for you to peel off the protective covering on both sides of the disc. Once I did that, I was satisfied. I shall be getting more. FYI: it’s a little difficult taking the protective covering off. I used my Cricut weeder and it comes right on off without scratching it. I hope this helps! Got these for a task to make keychains and it was my first time doing so and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was! A bunch of them looked badly scratched but the protective film did its job and when taken off showed that the actual acrylic was free of damage. The sides are smooth and the chain seems sturdy. I wish they gave more jump rings so that you can connect the tassle or more than one disc to one but I understand why they give a set amount. Overall great purchase.

These came in protective sticky covers hard to peel off but once you get it started comes right off. I used my Cricut Maker to engrave on this on came out perfect. Again, I would say its a little less than 2 inches but not by much. Easy to put together.
