I had read about microfiber rags but did not believe they could be so much better than old rags that I don't have to pay for. But I had an injury and could not do good housecleaning for way too long and I thought I had to hire a professional, but first I researched many articles regarding the best cleaning products, and what professional cleaners use. Every article and service suggested the most important cleaning tool was microfiber rags. Also I read some science articles about how the microfiber material works. These were very inexpensive for the quality, so I bought them. My injury is improved so I started cleaning with these and they really do make a difference in efficiency and require less strength and less cleaning product to scrub everything clean. I used them on everything--sinks, tubs, cupboards, chairs, walls, etc.

I've been doing a lot of cleaning since we just went through a remodel, and ordered these cloths a while back after reading all the glowing reviews here. Since the price was reasonable I ordered a dozen and I've been using them extensively for cleaning mirrors, dusting, and other general cleaning and I must say that the reviews don't exaggerate their usefulness.

They will snag on anything that's slightly rough; some of my furniture is over 60 years old and the finish is not smooth. When using these cloths to dust it, they did snag and actually pulled off a small piece of veneer which had previously cracked. But that's the only problem I've had with them.

I wash them in a small wash load when a pile of them accumulates in the laundry room so they won't get clogged with lint from other fabrics, and so far they come out of the wash clean, which is also nice since I hate to clean with a rag that looks dirty.
